We made a trip out to Boston to meet with Curt Schilling and his company 38 Studios. Great people over there. Despite what you may have heard about Curt, he's a very friendly guy in person.

Curt started 38 Studios to launch Copernicus, his own offering to the world of MMORPG games. He's gathered an all star team including Todd McFarlane of Spawn fame and renowned fantasy author R.A. Salvatore.

He told us about how he got into playing MMO's and how they offer him an escape from baseball celebrity status. The games also traveled with him while playing ball and offered a great alternative to hitting the bars after a game.

Did you know that Curt once had his own character in Sony's EverQuest. That's right you could battle Curt, who not only belittled you with insults but attacked you with a spike bat and shoulder pads. Don't worry...it's in GAMERS.
