We met up with Jay Mohr backstage at BlizzCon. Jay was nice and down to earth and offered to sit with us for 15 minutes and talk about his experiences.

"I got a call from my agent to host the 2008 BlizzCon. I was totally unaware of the magnitude of the event. I came out in a suit for this fancy award show and there's some guy dressed as a lobster. The first year I did a standup routine, which totally bombed. Thankfully Blizzard called and said, 'Just do the off-the-cuff thing you do...forget your little performance thing.'"

Jay went to compare Gamers of today to the grunge rockers of the early 90's. His most vivid gaming memory is finishing Twisted Metal for the first time (using the Dune Buggy) without losing a guy, while listening to Jay-Z's Hard Knock Life vol.2 set on repeat. Damn Jay...doin' your thang!
